Grab your smartest crew and come play along to find out! It’s also our 3 year Quizzaversary! It’s hard to believe 3 years have already flown by. We’re honored to have the best Quiz community in all of Quizlandia – thank you all for coming out and supporting our shenanigans for the last three years and hopefully many more! We’ll have Familia Barrios here tonight for their weekly Quiz visit – enjoy some authentic and tasty Mexican cuisine while you try to figure out what crazy, obscure knowledge you need to pull out for trivia.

8/9 Friday: Forgotten Tales Art Exhibition & Filberta

We’re debuting a new collection of work by local artist RJ Reilly (otherwise known as DesertGrizzlyArt) tonight for the Forgotten Tales Art Exhibition! This solo show will feature a wide array of new art that will be available for purchase, and RJ will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the work. It wouldn’t be a Transplants art show without delicious food and brews – we’re bringing back a limited amount of Filberta (our fan-favorite Filbert variant with Mexican chocolate, cinnamon and chiles) and Fat Boys Taco will be serving dinner after 6pm.

Our community has been requesting an event like this since our last 5k, so we wanted bring back an even bigger and better incarnation of this day of fun and fitness! The race starts at 9am, and there will be a post-run expo at the taproom with booths from many of your favorite local fitness vendors!

This race benefits the Transplants Charitable Organization, a Non-Profit which donates funds to various charities and non profit organizations around the Antelope Valley, including the Palmdale Community Foundation.

The course will be on paved, mostly flat roads on minor streets and residential areas.  Courses will be marked using chalk, signs, and volunteers along the race route. An official map will be made available prior to the race on the event website.  There will be aid stations along the race route, and the cut-off time is 2 hours from race start.

There will be a 5k race, a 10k race, and a Kid Fun Run. If you’re interested in signing up click here for more information on how to get involved! We can’t wait to see you for this awesome community event!
