At Transplants This Week: Trivia, Naked Beer Day and a Mango IPA Randall

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to our Torta eating contest with Tipsy Moon and Zodiac Grill and congrats to our winner Chris Hair. If you weren’t there you missed out, but save the date because our next event together is on Friday October 28.

This weekend we’ll be pouring beers at BAM fest in Santa Monica, please come find us if you’re attending!

9/21 WednesdayGeeks Who Drink, our weekly pub quiz is back at 7PM and Zodiac Grill is here for dinner. Bring your team and show what you know!

9/23 Friday Naked Day is finally here! We’ll be serving a flight of four beers from our regular lineup without the special ingredients. Come and try Cumbersome without cucumbers, Cream Cycle without orange and vanilla, Filbert without chocolate & hazelnut, and Black Bayou without coffee and chicory. We build our beers from the ground up to complement the carefully selected natural special ingredients (not an artificial dosing afterthought), here’s your chance to try a “normal” version of these regularly offered beers to see how we build the base recipe to support the overall recipe concept. Plus, we’ll be serving Trance Plants IPA through a randall of mangos.

9/25 Sunday – Our monthly potluck returns, this month’s theme is “Around the World:” bring a dish to share that either represents your culture, or from your favorite food culture. We’ve had a great turnout the last two months we’ve done this, people bring food all day long and there’s plenty to eat. Bring the family and come hang out! Hello Fellow Transplants!

Thanks to all of our new friends for checking us out at the CCBA Craft Beer Summit in Sacramento last weekend. We had a great time pouring beer and representing the LA Brewer’s Guild and we got introduced to many amazing people and beers.

9/14 Wednesday – Our weekly Geeks who Drink  pub quiz returns with Zodiac Grill for dinner

9/16 Friday Special Tapping of Maxmas, our 8.5% barleywine with maple syrup. We only have a limited amount and you don’t want to miss it! We’ll be offering 8oz half pours due to the limited amount of this beer.

9/17 Saturday  Torta Eating Contest with Tipsy Moon and Zodiac Grill, with meat infused with Transplants beer! Plus Cumbersome served through peppers grown by Tipsy Papa Juan. If you’ve ever tried their food before we know you won’t want to miss it!

This week at Transplants- Peaches Be Trippin- Ginger Mint Randall – Labor Day

Thanks to everyone who attended our 90’s Night event last weekend, we had a blast and hope you did too.

This week at Transplants- Weekly Trivia Night & The Return of El Mas Guapo!

Hello Fellow Transplants!

We had a great time at Brew at the Zoo LA  and Mammoth Bluesapalooza last weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out for that. It was a huge success.

This week at the Brewery:

8/17 Wednesday – Our weekly Geeks who Drink trivia night returns. Last week’s debut was a resounding success and you don’t want to miss out! And if that wasn’t enough, El Mas Guapo will be back on tap AND Zodiac Grill will be cooking your dinner.

8/19 FridayZodiac Grill is back again with a special menu (details pending) and we’ll also have new fan favorite Melting Faces IPA through a randall of Cascade hops.

Also we’ll be at Eagle Rock Lounge for a tap takeover! This is a perfect chance for our LA friends who haven’t had a chance to make the drive yet to see what we’ve been up to lately!

And.. that same night we will also be pouring at Edwards Air Force Base’s Club Muroc Local Brews Beer Night along with the rest of the AV breweries from 6pm-8pm.

This week at Transplants- Vagabond Cheese and Melting Faces IPA!

As always, we have a lot going on this week at the brewery, and we’re really excited about our newest beer release: Melting Faces, an 8.8% IPA with Chinook and Citra. We loaded this batch with the most hops we’ve used in a batch yet and it just might actually melt your face 🙂

Also, just a quick reminder to all school staff that your first drink is always $1 off, just mention your school affiliation to your bartender.

New IPA Release with Shirts and Potluck Sunday!

Greetings fellow Transplants!

Hope you all are having a good week and are safe after dealing with the Sand fire! We know it got pretty smoky up here as well as down below.   Our hearts go out to those who were affected by the fire.  We know what it’s like to almost lose your home due to fires like these.

Here’s what’s going on this week at the brewery:

Want to attend LA Burgers and Beer at the coliseum for free this Saturday?  (July 30th)

We are raffling off 2 free tickets.  The event goes from 3-7pm.  We are pouring beer there so come enjoy the fest and say hi! To enter, you have to come into the tasting room today or tomorrow (Wednesday July 27th or Thursday July 28th) and fill out a raffle ticket.  No purchase necessary.  But you may wanna have a beer while you’re here and relax a while!  We’ll announce the winner Friday by early afternoon so you can plan ahead for the next day if you are the winner.  Also we’ll call the winner so we can make sure you get the message.

Thursday 7/28: Beside the Burgers and Beer Raffle we also are releasing a new 9.5% IPA.  We are keeping the name under wraps till tomorrow.  We’ll also have BRAND NEW SHIRTS with the logo for the beer for sale.  For every full pour or growler/crowler of this beer sold we’ll donate $1 to  SAVES, as well as $10 of every shirt with this beer logo.   Here’s a little info on the organization:

South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) is dedicated to alleviating hunger among very low and extremely low income working families, elderly, disabled and homeless in the South Antelope Valley. We help sustain the lives of thousands of people by assisting them with nutritious food, education and referrals in cooperation with other agencies.

We are thrilled to be able to help out such and amazing organization that helps so many people.  So come in and do your part to help the community!  Zodiac Grill will also be here at 6pm .

Friday 7/29: Raffle winners announced, and Zodiac grill will be back at 6pm

Saturday 7/30: We’ll be pouring at LA Burgers and Beer and toasting the winners of the raffle!

Sunday 7/31:  Our first Potluck Sunday!   Come bring a dish to pay with others and enjoy a fun, comfortable Sunday at the brewery. We have a sign up sheet at the brewer for what you’d like to bring, but feel free to bring whatever you like. Please make sure you list what’s in the dish for our non-meat eaters or people with allergies!

Last weekend we had a great time serving beer and representing the AV at the California State Fair in Sacramento. Special thanks to Larry (Sarah’s dad) for all his help at the fest and to Device Brewing for helping us keep our kegs cold.

Friday 7/22 – Zodiac Grill is back again at 6PM. Come spend your Friday night with us!

This Week at Transplants

It’s going to be another great week here at the brewery. We currently have 25 beers on tap with a fresh batch of Trance Plants IPA debuting this weekend. Here’s what else is going on:

Wednesday: Open 4pm-11pm

Thursday: Open 4pm-11pm with Zodiac Grill at 6PM

Friday: Open 2pm-12am with  Go Fusion N Grill at 7PM

Friday we are also running our Hop Goes the Weasel though a randall of Centennial hops to infuse it with extra hoppy goodness! So come by and enjoy while eating some tasty Go Fusion N Grill food.

Saturday: Open 12PM-12AM. We will also be pouring at the California State Fair in Sacramento at the Best of California Brewfest showing them the Antelope Valley makes some pretty great beer!
